Your Role

• Develop individual solutions for CMS, ecommerce, personalized web applications and services behind the login. Thus for B2B2B, B2B, B2B2C and B2C customers

• Create architectural and solution concepts, interface definitions and agreements

• Help optimizing our system stack, CI/CD pipelines and test tool chain

Your Profile

• Excellent knowledge in PHP 7.x /8.x, Symphony 4/5

• Ideally a wide scope of developed web applications and projects in the past

• Pimcore experience is a benefit

• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases

• Elastic search is a benefit

• Experience in integrating frontend components based on atomic design approach is a benefit

• Optional experience with Linux based infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud environments

• CI/ CD pipeline and scripting

• Code checker and test tools (PHPStan, PHPCs, Codeception, Cypress)

• Work in an agile team environment (Scrum)

• English is a must

How we work

We have separated Frontend and Backend Development which allows us to develop requirements in two different speeds and give more responsibilities compared to classical frontend teams to adjust and enhance the frontends.

We are producing HTML following the atomic design approach. Designs are broken down in atoms, molecules and organisms.As we use Pimcore as system stack, the integration components are built in Twig by the frontend team.

Everything fits together and due to this approach, we have a pretty strict integration process.
Further the components we integrate follow a MVC pattern. Our backend developers directly use the components an provide the data model to “fill” these with the output.
 

The components are managed within a storybook repo and updates are transferred via release pipelines directly into our application.

Within this production model a high participation and responsibility belongs to the frontend developers. Every frontend change or bug fix needs to be provided initially by the frontend team.
