Comfort large area ventilation units are designed as indoor units for controlled ventilation in individual rooms. Besides their main uses in classrooms and preschools, the appliances are also ideal for any large space with insufficient or substandard ventilation.
 

The CGL edu exchanges stale indoor air for fresh outside air. This helps prevent high CO2 concentrations and extracts potentially virus-laden aerosol particles, pollutants and odorous substances, fine dusts and excessive moisture reliably and, above all, in an energy-efficient manner. When combined with a plentiful supply of fresh outdoor air, this creates a pleasant and hygienic indoor climate.
 

Heat is recovered either by an aluminium countercurrent plate heat exchanger with efficiency factor of over 90% or an enthalpy heat exchanger with moisture recovery function. Comfort large area ventilation units are designed for decentralised installation directly in the habitable rooms where they will be used, or in side rooms. These appliances meet the strict requirements concerning noise emissions in interior spaces.
The mechanical ventilation level can be automatically adjusted and finely controlled by a CO₂ sensor. The recommended application range is from 300 to 750 m³/h.

Installed directly in the room (with discharge hoods)

CGL edu installed directly in the room with duct connection through the window for rapid retrofitting. Air flows in through a discharge hood with long-range nozzles. This creates a flow of air throughout the room without needing additional fittings (duct system). The appliance can be connected to a window easily and without any additional insulation using an ISO pipe system (accessory).

Installed directly in the room (with fabric ducts)

CGL edu retrofitted by drilling a hole through the outside wall. The appliance is enclosed in a casing that blends into the interior and provides additional noise insulation. Air is fed into the room from a ceiling-mounted fabric conduit. The appliance can be connected to the outside wall very easily using an ISO pipe system (accessory).

Installed in an adjoining room with an opening in the connecting wall 

CGL edu installed in a hallway or adjoining room with the back of the appliance against the wall. Fixed ventilation pipes supply air to the ventilated room, and extract air is routed to the appliance through the wall at floor level. The appliance can be connected to the outside wall easily and without any additional insulation using an ISO pipe system (accessory).
