The “Viertel Zwei” building complex is one of the largest inner-city developments in Vienna, representing one of the most important large-scale projects the city has ever undertaken. Its dimensions are truly superlative. 90,000 m² of office and business premises, apartments and a hotel are being constructed on a plot of 40,000 m². A lake, amidst generously sized grounds, provides the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The most striking building – the “Hoch Zwei” office tower – together with the “Plus Zwei” building has been home to the OMV group head office since 2009. “Hotel Zwei” and the four-star Courtyard hotel, owned by Marriott, were opened in time for EURO 2008.
Here again, the employment of WOLF technology was essential to this ultramodern project. The KG TOP series is used in some of the most impressive buildings, including “Hotel Zwei”, “Hoch Zwei” and “Plus Zwei”. The need to deploy highly efficient appliances with heat recovery made the decision easy for the project manager as well as the engineering team and the system installer – it had to be WOLF.
