This multi function cylinder is specially designed to make the most of solar energy – for maximum DHW and central heating convenience.

The BSP-SL stratification cylinder enables you to integrate a solar thermal system to harness the energy of the sun for efficient central heating and DHW provision in your home. For this, the cylinder is equipped with smooth tube indirect coils at the top and bottom. These make the very most of the sun's energy to heat the cylinder water.

• Separating plates stratify the water inside the cylinder into different thermal zones and so significantly improve the solar yield
• The stratification technology ensures that water is always drawn from the hottest layer. This means that energy losses are kept to a minimum, reducing costly reheating and thereby saving energy and protecting the environment
• Two smooth tube indirect coils guarantee optimum utilisation of solar energy
• The freshwater module always provides the right amount of hygienic DHW to meet your current needs
• Short throughput times and small amounts of hot water in the system prevent the growth of legionella bacteria
• The thermal insulation is removable; this is particularly advantageous for retrofitting, as narrow basement entrances and rooms often make assembly in the installation room difficult
• Hydraulic components such as a freshwater module, up to two circuits with mixer (for radiators and underfloor heating) and a solar pump/valve assembly can be fitted directly to the cylinder, ensuring a clean look and clutter-free boiler room
• The DHW circulation set is controlled by timer, thermostat or by opening the water tap, guaranteeing hot water immediately without a long wait
• The single cylinder system prevents heat losses
