The BSP-W-SL stratification cylinder enables integration of a heat pump into your heating system and ensures optimum use of your solar thermal system.

The BSP-W is ideal for use with a heat pump because its freshwater module, where the DHW is heated, is designed for very low temperatures, making heat pump operation particularly efficient. To ensure optimum utilisation of solar thermal energy, the cylinder is equipped with smooth tube indirect coils at the top and bottom. These make the very most of the sun's energy to heat the cylinder water.

• Separating plates stratify the water inside the cylinder into different thermal zones and so significantly improve the solar yield
• The stratification technology ensures that water is always drawn from the hottest layer. This means that energy losses are kept to a minimum, reducing costly reheating and thereby saving energy and protecting the environment
• Two smooth tube indirect coils guarantee optimum use of solar energy
• The freshwater module always provides the right amount of hygienic DHW to meet your current needs
• Short throughput times and small amounts of hot water in the system prevent the growth of legionella bacteria
• The thermal insulation is removable; this is particularly advantageous for retrofitting, as narrow basement entrances and rooms often make transportation and handling into the installation room difficult
• Hydraulic components such as a freshwater module, up to two circuits with mixer (for radiators and underfloor heating) and a solar pump/valve assembly can be fitted directly to the cylinder, ensuring a clean look and clutter-free boiler room
• The DHW circulation set is controlled by timer, thermostat or by opening the water tap, guaranteeing hot water immediately without a long wait
