Combined heat and power generation

Power and heat in one: combined heat and power (CHP) generation refers to the thermodynamic process by which we simultaneously yield mechanical energy, which is usually converted straight into electricity, and usable thermal energy. Wolf can draw on more than 30 years' experience in combined heat and power generation. A Wolf CHP unit achieves around 90 % efficiency, meaning 90 % of the primary energy used is converted into power and heat. When the radiant heat is also taken into account, it is even possible to achieve efficiency levels of up to around 95 %.
