Standard seasonal efficiency [to DIN]

The standard seasonal efficiency [to DIN] was introduced to allow different heat generators to be compared with regard to their energy efficiency. It specifies the percentage level up to which the energy supplied to the system is converted into usable heating energy over a whole year. The standard seasonal efficiency [to DIN] was established as part of DIN 4702 Part 8 and also includes output measurements for five typical system output levels.
