If you know in advance that you want an appliance that provides both heating and cooling, then the BWL-1S split air source heat pump is the one for you. In highly insulated houses there may come a point during the summer when your home starts to store heat. This is when this additional, space saving and efficient cooling option might be very welcome.

The BWL-1S variably adapts its performance to your demand: this applies to heating, cooling and DHW operation. The outdoor unit takes up little space and can either be mounted on a floor or wall mounting bracket. And if you live in a region where it gets very cold in winter or at night, then an additional electric booster heater will reliably provide you with cosy warmth.

The BWL-1S is the energy efficient solution for heating, cooling and DHW operation that variably adapts to your demand. The outdoor unit takes up little space and can either be mounted on a floor or wall mounting bracket.

  • High efficiency, with a COP of up to 3.8 (EN 14 511), means little electricity is required to operate the heat pump
  • Equipped with an electric booster heater (6 kW) for providing additional heat when outside temperatures are low
  • Save energy with efficiency class A++
  • Easily monitor your consumption with the integral heat meter
  • All WOLF products communicate with each other via the WOLF control unit. This means they are also very easy and intuitive to operate as a system overall
  • Operation with integral BM-2 programming unit or AM display module
  • Can be combined with other heat generators (oil/gas/biomass/solar)
  • Optionally also available as a heating centre, meaning in combination with the CEW-2-200 DHW cylinder
  • Its LAN/WLAN interface module enables the BWL-1S to be SmartHome compatible and so easily operated via the WOLF SmartSet app or web browser
