Lack of space and tight installation situations can make it difficult to install a mechanical ventilation system. For these scenarios, WOLF has developed the CWL-F-300 Excellent slimline ventilation unit. Thanks to its slender design and quiet operation, the CWL-F-300 Excellent can easily be fitted above the ceiling or in narrow recesses. With a maximum air flow rate of 300 m3 per hour, the unit is ideal for ventilating a small detached house.
This unit has a special feature – it uses countercurrent technology. Via a heat exchanger, supply and extract air are routed past each other along separate ducts, causing the warmer extract air to heat the supply air. This saves energy while also enabling an even, continuous air supply.
In summer you can circumvent heat recovery with the help of a bypass, allowing you to cool your house with pleasant night air. Furthermore, the unit is very easy to maintain and is also certified for passive houses.
We spend around two-thirds of our lifetime in closed rooms. Dust, pollen, odours, a high CO2 level or excessive humidity can negatively affect physical and mental performance. In well insulated buildings, there is also a double layer of thermal insulation and triple glazed windows to consider. Whilst this is extremely energy saving, it also means that your home is difficult to ventilate. In older buildings that have been renovated, this can lead to the formation of mould and moisture-related damage.
A WOLF comfort mechanical ventilation unit is perfect for situations such as these. It automatically ensures the indoor air is fresh and healthy without time consuming and inefficient airing in short bursts. With a controlled mechanical ventilation unit, pollen doesn't stand a chance, so you can finally take a deep breath and relax. Dust and dust mites can also be actively prevented with a ventilation system, resulting in significantly improved air quality. Therefore be sure to include a WOLF comfort mechanical ventilation unit when planning your new build – for a healthy and pleasant indoor environment.
Whether you're looking at heating, ventilation or cooling – at WOLF we are only satisfied when all these elements come together to provide you with an indoor environment where you can truly relax. We want technology to fit around you, not the other way round.
And because your requirements may change over time, we offer you full control of your heating system, DHW temperature and air change rates with our user friendly devices, intuitive apps, and SmartHome enabled programming units –so your living zone is also your comfort zone.
