The best thing about environmental energy is that it is freely available. WOLF ground source heat pumps (water) use energy from groundwater. Even at temperatures of 8 to 12 °C, it is still possible to extract energy from water with a heat pump. In an ideal scenario, you can draw up to 80 percent of the thermal energy required for your detached house from water.
It also scores top marks when it comes to its energy footprint. The BWW-1 works with particularly high efficiency, achieving a COP of approximately 5.5, which means that more than five times the electrical energy consumed is delivered to your heating system or DHW system. This represents energy efficiency class A++.
The near silent ground source heat pump (water) is very easy to set up and takes up little space. It takes up less than half a square metre in your hobby or boiler room. The integral heat meter continuously shows the output energy and helps you monitor the system's efficiency over the long term. You can control the BWW-1 directly with the BM programming unit or conveniently via smartphone, laptop or your PC at home.
The BWW-1 can be combined with various WOLF DHW cylinders. We especially recommend using it as a compact centre combined with the CEW-1-200. Incidentally, grants* are available for the BWW-1.(For further information, see Subsidies)
The perfect indoor environment depends on the temperature being just right. Degrees are critical, when it comes to feeling good. Environmentally responsible WOLF ground source heat pumps (water) are particularly well suited for heating. But this does not mean that you can only rely on the BWW-1 during the cold season. In summer, this heat pump also makes a major contribution by cooling the indoor air via your underfloor heating system and the BKM cooling module, with which it can be combined. So your house is an all-year-round feel good zone, with temperatures that suit you and your needs.
