Carbon dioxide is a chemical compound consisting of carbon and oxygen. A certain concentration of carbon dioxide is found naturally in the air. However, this non-flammable, acidic, colourless and odourless gas also occurs during the combustion of fossil fuels. The goal of advanced heating systems is to reduce CO₂ emissions and the greenhouse effect they cause. Advanced Wolf heating systems such as gas condensing equipment or renewable technologies such as solar thermal systems, heat pumps or combined heat and power systems therefore make an active contribution to climate protection.
